Is there roaming?

The America's Choice plans may have roaming charges that apply at times across the United States. Verizon Wireless covers approximately 95% of the US population. If you have a concern about a particular area, call your store or customer service and they will be able to tell you if there is roaming in that particular area. Read more about our coverage area on the right.

When I check my voicemail does it use my minutes?

Yes, weekdays before 9:00pm regular airtime rates apply. After 9:00pm and on the weekends no airtime is charged.

What is the difference between a 1-year and a 2-year agreement?

There is a difference in both initial phone costs and activation fees. Visit or call your local store for more details.

Does this price include taxes?

There are other taxes, surcharges, and fees that will be on your bill in addition to your monthly rates. These charges include E911, gross receipts charges, Federal Universal Service charges, Monthly Regulatory charges, and other taxes. We can give you approximate estimate of these charges when you set up your account.

What is the minute charge for roaming?

On the America's Choice calling plans roaming charges are $.69 per minute.

Is there an activation fee?

There is a one-time activation fee for 1-year Contracts ($35 primary lines / $25 secondary line) and a $15 activation fee for 2-year Contracts.

If I go over my minutes how much is it going to cost me?

If you go over your monthly minutes there is a per minute overage charge. The overage charges vary depending on the plan you choose. Call or visit your local store for more information.

I was told my plan was $39.99 a month, but my first bill was different, why?

Your first bill will be higher than normal bills, and will consist of: your one-time activation fee, your first month's service and optional features, plus prorated charges for service and optional features. Wireless World provides our new customers with a explanation of these charges and estimated first bill.

How much is an additional line?

Family SharePlan lines are only $9.99 per month. Share lines currently share your minutes, Nights & Weekends and receive Unlimited IN calling.
